This is a beautiful ride dipping up onto the Downs and then along the undulating lanes of West Berkshire.
Weaving through villages with old cottages, churches dating back to the 12th century and the River Pang running through them it is a ride to take slowly, to potter about on and enjoy the views.
With three superb coffee shops, and the option to either choose the 27 or 18 mile route (a very straightforward shortcut) in my mind, it’s an ideal ride for a summers day.
