A superbly fun ride of three parts.
The first, easy pedaling across flat farm and marshland. The second, tiny back roads and bridleways with one section of footpath where you have to lift your bike over two stiles. The final stretch - a lovely flat to ever-so-slight downwards incline, through quiet countryside and sleepy villages. The spectacular backdrop of the ridgeway in the distance.
With exceptionally good cafes with great outside spaces its one for a dry day.
Oh yes, and the UK’s maddest town.
